a voyage by the sea.

When strolling along the water can be so delightful. Would've just sat along the docks and enjoyed the view if it weren't for the extremely hot weather. Summer sure is fast approaching!

I can never get bored of the lifestyle and sights of Circular Quay; clear blue waters, the amazing view, bars and cafes all around, and local entertainment at every corner. A tourist spot yes, but what's not to like? Life's always great when you slow down and enjoy the view.

I always manage to discover new locations and produce new ideas just by walking around aimlessly. Only problem is, sometimes i might not be able to deliver or live up to the standards that i expect of myself. That's why its always great to have a model in handy. Introducing Boon Hee, my visiting bestie who was more than happy to oblige with my demands.

I'd imagine shooting more pictures in this spot with a flowy dress or something really feminine. Just seems to channel a romantic vibe to me somehow haha.

Now that summer is approaching, the sun only sets around 8pm, which makes the sun at its highest peak even during the late afternoons. Really bad lighting for pictures. That and the fact that the Opera House was crawling with tourists so chances of good shots went down the drain.

Ah well, expect more posts coming your way!

roadblocks.

In life, there will always be people who critique your work, just because it doesn't turn out the way they want it to.

I am a perfectionist when it comes to photography. I can easily be unsatisfied with my pictures and get mad at myself over it. I have my own style of photography, heck all photographers out there do. That's what differentiates each of us. If we were all to do as you want, what would set us apart from the rest?

People who have no passion in photography have no right to judge or discriminate our work.

Planned or unplanned, its shots like these that strengthen my love for photography. That feeling when a shot turns out so great that you just fall in love all over again when you look at it. Words cannot express how much i love what i'm doing and someday, hopefully, people would feel the love in my pictures too.

But to those out there that have always supported my work, i am ever so thankful. I won't disappoint you!
